After many years of contemplating whether I should do a blog, I believe I've finally found a compelling reason to do so - for posting my photos.
I have been actively taking pictures since I ventured into DSLR photography late last year when I took the plunge and bought the entry-level (but still very capable) Nikon D40X DSLR camera with the wide zoom lens kit, which comes with the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 and 55-200mm f/4-5.6 kit lenses. Since then I have sold the 18-55mm and upgraded to the brand-new AF-S 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6 mid-level zoom lens as my main walkabout lens, and added another brand-new offering, the AF-S 60mm f/2.8 Micro-Nikkor as well as a second-hand AF 10.5mm f/2.8 fisheye to my fledging system.
I will probably go more into my lens purchasing decisions in later posts.
Anyway, as mentioned at the start, my main purpose in putting this blog up is to share my photos with friends, family, as well as anyone else who is interested to look at them. Do feel free to comment on anything that interests you!
